A single mom from Sydney, Australia, is clinging to hope as donations continue to trickle in to help pay for a complex surgery her 3-year-old daughter needs to live a normal life.

“The increase in donations helps keep my hope for Twisha’s cure,” Sweety Makwana said yesterday.

Makwana is trying to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for her toddler, Twisha, who was born with an esophagus that doesn’t reach her stomach. Twisha cannot eat normally unless she gets a surgery that extends her food pipe to meet her stomach.
